Lakshmi’s NTR 1st Weekend Collections

Lakshmi's NTR has opened to extraordinary response and made good collection at the worldwide box office on its first weekend. The movie has become the biggest opener for Ram Gopal Varma. As per trade reports, Lakshmi’s NTR has collected 5.2 cr gross worldwide in 1st weekend, though the film is not released in Andhra Pradesh.

Lakshmi’s NTR is having successful run in Nizam and overseas. It already crossed $ 200K gross in USA. The film is said to be performing well in border areas, since it isn’t hit the screens in Andhra Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Supreme Court today refused to give an urgent hearing to a plea seeking a stay on the release of Lakshmi's NTR in AP. A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi dismissed the plea.

Andhra Pradesh High Court on Friday had ordered a stay on the release of the film. After the stay on the release of the film, Verma had alleged 'political agenda' behind the move.
