Pooja Hegde Confesses Her Mistake

Pooja Hegde though made her debut with Mega Prince Varun Tej in Mukunda and went on to star in Naga Chaitanya's Oka Laila Kosam, failed to sparkle on screen despite her hot looks. Even the dream debut with heartthrob Hrithik Roshan with Mohan Jodaro in Bollywood turned out to be a disaster.

But her bikini blast in Allu Arjun's DJ (Duvvada Jagannatham) got her numerous crazy offers. She sizzled as Jigelu Rani in Ram Charan's Rangasthalam and romanced NTR in Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava. She is now romancing Mahesh Babu in Maharshi and Prabhas in Jaan.

Speaking to scribes, Pooja made a shocking confession. She said, “When a film does not do well, it does set you back a bit. But then, it’s important to understand that not everything is in your hands. The only thing that is within your control is your effort.”

She further said, “I gave dates in bulk for two years for Mohen Jo Daro getting excited for getting the crazy project. I was unaware of how important two years in career of a heroine. Though I realized the mistake, there was no use. Apart from it the films I did, did not do well at the box office. 

From then on I decided not to sign films in a hurried manner. This was the reason why my numbers of films are still in single digit. I don't like to do films on a fast basis and get fade out even faster. I am not saying this keeping someone in mind but I am expressing my opinion.”
