Lakshmi's NTR Gets Powerful Boost

Ram Gopal Varma who postponed his Lakshmi's NTR by one week, owing to the pressures from all quarters, got a powerful boost as AP High Court cleared all hurdles for its release, quashing petitions against the film's release.

Apart from it, High Court even quashed petitions against Kethi Reddy Jagadeeshwar Reddy's controversial film Lakshmi's Veera Grandham. High Court after hearing the complaints filed by Satyanarayana against both the films Lakshmi's NTR and Lakshmi's Veeragrandham alleging that the release of these films will result in law and other problem.

High Court quashed the petition saying everyone has right to freedom of expression and it cannot stop the film release under any circumstances. It however directed the Telangana government to take steps that there will not be any law and order problem. Telangana state government advocate assured High Court that the government will take all steps to ensure law and order in the state.

RGV changed Lakshmi's NTR film release from March 22nd to March 29th and Lakshmi's Veeragrandham is likely to release in this summer.
