Not only critics but also movie lovers showered praises on the story, screenplay and direction of Vijay Kumar Konda and the performances of Nithya Menon and Nithin.

Many predicted bright future for Vijay Kumar Konda but his next entertainer Oka Laila Kosam with Naga Chaitanya and Pooja Hegde, failed to recreate the similar magic.
