On the auspicious day of Maha Shivarathri, Prince Mahesh Babu nailed down bitter experience to his fans. Let's look into the story.
It has been since a long time Mahesh Babu and director Sukumar have been in discussions with the script for their combo's film. Hitherto, Sukumar wished to make a historical magnum opus on a larger canvas for Mahesh Babu. But then, Mahesh Babu turned down the proposal of the Rangasthalam director.
Thereupon, reports emerged that Sukumar was penning a script for Mahesh Babu which was touted to be an action thriller something on the lines of '1 Nenokkadine'. Afterwards, we also heard the speculations that Mahesh Babu was showing interest to team up with F2 director Anil Ravipudi.
Now that, Mahesh Babu couldn't come up with any clarity on his project, Sukumar might have decided to work for Stylish star Allu Arjun's 20th venture. Eventually, the project was announced on Monday by Mythri Movie Makers officially.
Mahesh Babu, nevertheless, shocked with the decision of Sukumar. He took his twitter handle and divulged that creative differences between the director and him led the cancellation of the project.
"Due to creative differences, my film with Sukumar is not happening. I wish him all the best on the announcement of his new project. Respect always for a film maker par exellence. 1 Nenokkadine will remain as a cult classic. Enjoyed every moment working on that film. All the best sir for your new film," Mahesh Babu tweeted.
Having read between the lines of his tweet it was understood that he might have posted the tweet out of his anguish on the cancellation of the Sukumar project. Had Mahesh Babu given nod for Sukumar's script without any changes, the project could have got materialised.
