Fact Sheet: This Is Naidu's Role in Railway Zone

In spite of expressing delight for union government's railway zone announcement, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and his yellow media batch are spewing venom on BJP government. They alleged that Waltair division was unjustifiably given away to Odsha. In fact, railway zone would ensure two biggest advantages to AP such as innumerable appointments to locals and more trains will get Vizag as the starting point. Despite ignoring this fact, TDP is politicising the issue shamelessly. De facto, Naidu's role in achieving railway zone is simply nothing and following crucial points will support this view.

1. CBN was no where when Venkayya Naidu included zone in AP Reorganization Bill.

2. CBN and Cabinet never met railway minister Piyush  Goyal for Railway zone to Vizag.

3. CBN wanted Railway zone to be shifted to Vijayawada Guntur region on caste grounds.

4. CBN has never tried to convince Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik on railway zone issue.
