Movie buffs are considering Lakshmi’s NTR as third part of NTR biopic, because Nandamuri Balakrishna’s NTR Biopic- a two part series ends incompletely following the demise of NTR’s wife Basavatarakam. In fact, Lakshmi’s NTR appears to be continuity for Mahanayakudu, as RGV’s version begins with entry of Lakshmi Parvathi into NTR’s life.
Thanks to the controversial posters, songs and trailer, Lakshmi’s NTR has become a hot topic in film circles. Demand is increased for the film’s theatrical rights as everybody wants to cash on craze on the film. However, as per a grapevine, Lakshmi’s NTR theatrical business has been closed.
Suresh Reddy of Sivam Celluloids has acquired Lakshmi’s NTR worldwide theatrical rights for whopping Rs 9 crores. Including all rights, producers will easily pocket 12 to 13 cr. RGV made the film in nearly 2 crores and the production quality in trailer is substandard. So, producer is lucky to get 10 Cr profit on the film.
RGV is planning to release Lakshmi’s NTR on March 15th. It has to be seen whether Nandamuri and Nara families will object the film’s release.
