NTR Biopic All India Record!

Numero uno director of India, Rajamouli scripted a history with his Baahubali series films. Especially, Baahubali 2 stood as an all India biggest grosser and earned great fame to the director. Moreover, the film proved the stamina of Tollywood at all India level. 

Here is yet another film which created all India record. But then, it's a lacklustre record which is merely in coNtrast to Baahubali. While Baahubali became the biggest profitable venture at all India level, Ntr biopic (Kathanayakudu and Ntr Mahanayakudu) stood as the biggest loss venture in India. 

Initially, cine folks confined the flop status of the film in just Tollywood.

"Why should there be barriers to assess the status of our films? Why should they be confined just to Tollywood? Having gone through the super flops of star heroes across India,  Ntr biopic has become a pinnacle among all flops. Ntr Kathanayakudu created record with 77% (52 crores) losses while Ntr Mahanayakdu collected just Rs.2 crores. None of the biopics and none of the prequel and sequel have created such an extraordinary record in India film history," says a trade analyst.
