Having been sold out for Rs.72 crores and collected around Rs.20 crores share, NTR Kathanayakudu stood as an all time disaster of Tollywood at the moment. It is said to be a humiliating defeat for the passionate director Krish.
Krish's yet another directorial venture Manikarnika hit screens on Friday and received lukewarm response from the audience. Much to everyone's shocker, the film minted just Rs.8.75 crores on day one through its Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions.
Audience felt the film as a documentary and comfortably avoided it. Krish wielded megaphone initially. It was due to creative differences between the director and leading lady Kangana Ranaut, Krish had to walk out of the project. Whatsoever, Krish's two directorial ventures proved to be biggest disasters in Bollywood as well as Tollywood.
