Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s NTR Kathanayakudu and mega power star Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama were the most anticipated films for the Sankranthi, wherein expectations were quite low on the other festival attraction F2 Fun & Frustration starring Venkatesh and Varun Tej.
However, equations have been reversed post release of these films. While the Anil Ravipudi directorial has become winner for the season, the Boyapati Srinu and Krish directorial ventures are turning out as disasters. Both the films have already entered deficits in many areas and business of them will come to end soon in all the other areas.
While Balakrishna and Charan gave their best for their respective films, weak scripting and direction is the reason behind flop result of both the films. VVR at least recovered more than half of its investment, wherein Kathanayakudu is ending as triple disaster.
VVR producer DVV Danayya compensated some part of losses to the distributors, wherein Balakrishna promised to allot NTR Mahanayakudu theatrical rights for free. Thankfully, with the two biggies getting negative response, F2 has got earth-shattering collections at box office, much to the delight of its producer and buyers.
