All the Sankranthi outings have completed censor formalities and first to grace the theaters is Balakrishna’s NTR: Kathanayakudu arriving on January 9th. Since then, it will be continuous entertainment for movie buffs for a new release on every day for 4 days.
The second to arrive is super star Rajinikanth’s Peta (Petta). Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the commercial entertainer will release on January 10th. Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama and Venkatesh, Varun Tej’s F2- Fun And Frustration will hit the screens on 11th and 12th respectively.
NTR Kathanayakudu was awarded with clean U certificate and the film’s run time was locked to 2 hour 51 minutes, bit lengthy but audience will be awed to see NTR’s real life story. Interestingly, duration of Peta is also lengthy (2 hr 52 mins). The film received U/A censor certificate.
The other two Sankranthi attractions however have ideal final cut. While VVR’s run time is locked for 2 hrs 26 mins with U/A certificate, F2 will have a duration of 2hrs 28 mins (U/A).
Of late, filmmakers are opting to crisp run time as audience are expecting non-stop entertainment. The lengthy run time may not be an issue for NTR Biopic, it will definitely a setback for Peta.
