Sankalp Reddy created a sensation wih his debut project Ghazi. The under water war film which was never seen before on Indian silver screen won the accolades of critics and movie lovers alike and also won many awards and rewards.
When Sankalp announced his next, Antariksham 9000KMPH, a space thriller never touched before on Indian screen, everyone got excited. But after watching the film, many felt that Sankalp Reddy carved for media attention that he thinks out of the box but did not work with conviction to turn it into a perfect project.
The film turned out to be a disaster at the box office, with mission failed miserably. However instead of analysing his mistakes, Sankalp Reddy according to sources is commenting that it was viewers fault in not to understand the uniqueness and greatness of Antariksham. He is arguing that completing the space thriller in such a short span and in such a low budget is a great task itself.
His argument may be true but movie lovers only look for entertainment or thrilling experience. If the film fails in those aspects, then it is a failure. Sukumar after getting a shock with Mahesh Babu 1-Nenokkadine, analysed himself and came up with a blockbuster like Rangasthalam. Hope Sankalp Reddy analyse his mistakes rather than blaming the viewers.
