Mega prince Varun Tej after scoring two back to back hits with romantic entertainers Fidaa and Tholi Prema had decided not to do regular rom-coms. His next outing F2 (Fun And Frustration) with Venkatesh in Anil Ravipudi’s direction billed to be a fun escapade is slated for a grand release on 10th.
Varun Tej was approached to play antagonist in director Harish Shankar’s next which is going to be a remake to Tamil super hit Jigarthanda that was directed by Karthik Subbaraj. However, flop result of his first experimental film Antariksham 9000 KMPH has forced him to rethink about his decision.
As per a grapevine, Varun Tej is not willing to play negative role immediately after tasting a bitter result with Harish Shankar. Though he hasn’t informed to Harish Shankar, the director too came to know this decision of Varun Tej from a common friend. So, the director is planning to meet Varun Tej again to convince him.
Nonetheless, Varun Tej may tell his decision only after the release of F2. If this film clicks, then Varun may give his nod for Jigarthanda remake or else he would not do another experiment in near future.
