Deadly Sequels Trap Dangers

Tollywood filmmakers for some reason are smitten by sequels. Generally movie lovers get excited at the prospect of watching the sequels on screen as they remember the originals once again. But what the makers in their excitement are failing to realize is movie buffs compare the sequel with the original and then give mostly negative comments.

Though sequels most of the time gave shock to the filmmakers, still they are falling in the deadly sequels trap without realizing the dangers. Already sequels like Sardar Gabbar Singh, Kick 2, Gaayam 2, Satya 2, Rakta Charitra 2, Avunu 2, Aarya 2, Upendra 2, Shankar Dada Zindabad, Money Money, Raju Gari Gadi 2 and many more turned out to be disasters.

Still, Nagarjuna is planning Manmadhudu 2, Bangarraju, NTR is dreaming of Adurs 2, Mega fans are dreaming of Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari sequel, Mutha Mestri 2 etc. 

Wonder when filmmakers see the dangers of deadly sequels trap and avoid falling in it.
