Nag Ashwin's Mahanati not only stood as a huge blockbuster but also won the accolades of critics. The director stands next to Sukumar. Parasuram sparked everyone's attention with his quadruple blockbuster Geetha Govindam. He is likely to join the list of top directors in film industry soon.

Sasi Kiran Tikka's Goodhachari has become another huge hit of Tollywood in the restricted budget.

Top directors Koratala Siva and Trivikram were satisfied with above average results of Bharat Ane Nenu and Aravinda Sametha. Lack of sufficient entertainment in both the films made the directors lagging behind the race.

Ajay Bhupathi came up with bold content in RX100 and scored blockbuster. Venky Kudumula with Chalo, Venky Atluri with Tholiprema, Rahul Sankrityan with Taxiwala, G Ashok with Bhagamathie left their mark with notable hits.

Maha Venkatesh's realistic youthful drama C/o Kancharapalem has a special mention.
