When his career was in full swing as comedian, Sunil took a bold decision to try his luck as hero. Fortunately, he became successful at the start as lead actor and tasted few hits such as Andala Ramudu, Maryada Ramanna and Tadakha. But, when he realized after facing few flops that, audience got bored to see him in full length role, Sunil has started signing comedy roles.

Sunil’s best friend and director Trivikram Srinivas re-launched him as comedian with young tiger NTR starrer Aravinda Sametha. Though the film ended as an above average grosser, Sunil didn’t get any acknowledgment. In fact, his role was one of the most boring parts in the film.

Sunil was recently seen in Sharwanand’s Padi Padi Leche Manasu as Chatur Ramalingam. The name indicates that, the role will tickle your funny bone. But, no such thing happened. Sunil tested audience patience with his poor comedy timing.

Hanu Raghavapudi penned some hilarious dialogues for Sharwa and Sai Pallavi. But, his writing for Sunil’s role was pretty ordinary that no single scene of him evoked laughs. What’s more, Sunil never looked convincing in the role. In fact, he looked like a debutante who suffered to play the role proficiently.

When Trivikram can’t rightly handle Sunil, who else will provide him the much needed break!
