Review 2018: Heroine of the Year

While top heroines got mixed results, a few upcoming heroines scored splendidly well in 2018.

However, top heroine Samantha has stood at top position with two solid hits Rangasthalam and Mahanati in her kitty. As Rangasthalam scored an industry hit and she reprised one of the crucial roles in blockbuster film Mahanati, she was chosen the heroine of the year despite her U Turn bombed at the box office. 

Rashmika Mandanna, the emerging actress, has scored huge hits Chalo and Geetha Govindam. Her Devadas became a below average venture. 

Kiara Advani impressed everyone and all with her glamour and performance in Bharat Ane Nenu. She has grabbed prestigious project Vinaya Vidheya Rama featured by Mega Power Star Ram Charan as protagonist. She has reportedly signed for Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Prince Mahesh Babu's new projects.

Top heroine Kajal is backed out of the race with a series of disasters MLA and Kavacham. Her Awe became an average venture. Tamannah too scored debacles like Naa Nuvve, Sketch and Next Yenti. 

Sai Pallavi got disappointed results with Kanam, Padi Padi Leche Manasu and Maari 2.

Keerthy Suresh scored an outstanding success with Mahanai while her Agnyathavasi became a debacle.
