Ever since the news of Janasena was allotted Glass Tumbler as a party's symbol was out, there have been wide range of discussions among cine and political circles. Since the symbol instantly gets connected to common man, Janasena chief and party's workers are already celebrating as if they won general elections.

But then, there are satires and counter satires too. While opposition parties' activists are ridiculing glass would be broken after elections, Janasena sources countered that cycle (TDP's symbol) tyre would be punctured and ceiling fan (YSRCP's symbol) gives no air and its wings would be broken post general elections.

Barring all these satires and counter satires, historians have come up with a conclusion that glass tumber has been more popular than cycle and fan.

According to them, bicycle was invented in 1817 and took its present shape in late 19th century. On the other hand, ceiling fan was invented by Philip Diehl in 1882. Altogether, hardly there has been a history of 200 years for cycle and ceiling fan.

On the contrary, glass has a history which even exceeds 5000 years. According to Archaeologists and historians, strong evidences of Glass Tumbler were found in Mesopotamian civilisation that existed 3600 years ago.

To sum up, Glass Tumbler is much popular than cycle and ceiling fan by leaps and bounds.
