Here is a great news for Janasena activists and sympathisers across the globe. The Common Man's party Janasena has picked an apt election symbol to conquer the general elections, 2019.
The Election Commission of India allocated 'Glass Tumbler' (Gaju Glaasu) to Janasena as an election symbol for all 25 parliamentary constituencies of Andhra Pradesh and all 17 parliamentary constituencies of Telangana.
De facto, even election symbols too change the fate of political parties. Megastar Chiranjeevi's PRP got 'Rail Engine' as its election symbol in 2009 which confused voters then. Around 20 MLA contestants lost the election battle with a slight margin of votes in 100s. Psephologists then analysed that the prime cause of party's defeat was due to its election symbol.
However, Janasena chief has quite sensibly chose Glass Tumbler as his party's election symbol as no voter will get confused in recognising the symbol on the day of polling.
Obviously, Megastar holding 'Chai Glass' in Ye chai chatukkuna thaagara bhai' and Power Star holding 'Tea Glass' in Gabbar Singh film scenes will become widely popular again with the election symbol of Janasena.
It must be remembered that a 'Chaiwala' who sold tea using this 'Glass Tumbler' has become the Prime Minister of India (Narendra Modi). Let's wait and see if Janasena chief becomes a CM using the same Glass Tumbler.
