Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna's prestigious venture NTR Kathanayakudu/Mahanakudu theatrical trailer was launched by late NTR's four daughters Lokeswari, Purandeswari, Bhuvaneswari and Uma Maheswari during the audio launch of the film held at JRC Convention on Friday.

The trailer starts off with Prakash Raj's (played the role of B Nagireddy) background voice, who is suspicious if NTR (Balakrishna) fits for lord Krishna's role. Then enters NTR in Sri Krishna's getup. Later, a chain of events including NTR giving up his job and enters film industry, earning fame as a hero, social concern in spite of being a hero, his various get ups from Gundamma Katha, Yamagola, Vetagadu and others.

When he turns 60, he decides to enter politics. He is shown as CM and his get ups as a sage being a CM. "Dhanabalamaithe...balupulo kanipisthundi. Kanee idhi janabalam. Okka pilupulo vinipisthundi," a dialogue heard from backdrop.

The trailer waves around entire cine and political life of NTR in a nutshell. Balakrishna is seen in glimpses of various get ups of NTR in films. He suited well in some of the roles of NTR while it was felt a better makeup should have been made him merely fitted in some of the roles like Sri Krishna.

Though Kathanayakudu clippings appeared to have covered all crucial stages of NTR as a hero, political clippings just showcased NTR's get ups as a CM and his histrionics. No crucial episodes in NTR's life were shown in Mahanayakudu scenes.

All in all, NTR theatrical trailer partly lived up to the expectations. Since, both KN and MN's scenes are included in just one trailer, it appears lengthy with 3 and half minutes duration. BGM by Keeravani is apt while production values of Balakrishna are in good standards.

Finally, release date of Kathanayakudu was shown as January 9 while Mahanayakudu was shown as February 7.
