Rajini Clears Way for Charan!

Sankarnthi and mass masala entertainers are said to be the best combo in Telugu states to create box office records. There were many mass entertainers, which released for Sankranthi season, stood as industry hits and blockbusters in the past. 

Respecting Sankranthi sentiment, Mega Power Star Ram Charan ensures his upcoming commercial potboiler Vinaya Vidheya Rama, is released for Sankranthi season. Although a few other films such as F2, NTR and Yatra are on board for Sankranthi release, none of them has been made as a mass entertainer, as VVR had. 

However, Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's Petta. which was made as an out and out mass entertainer, was thought to be released during Sankranthi season. In such case, VVR and Petta were expected to clash each other consisting the same genres. 

But then, the latest reports from Kollywood suggest that Petta would be released on either 25 January or February 1. An official announcement is awaited. Petta was directed by Karthik Subbaraj on Sun Pictures.
