Ram Gopal Varma is known for his controversial films and even more controversial statements. However he crossed all the decency lines when he insulted farmers with his obscene comments. Ram Gopal Varma is super thrilled that his bilingual film Bhairava Geetha turned out to be a super hit in Sandalood, despite the same getting negative reviews in Telugu.
He is promoting the film giving interviews on various channels and when a lady activist asked him to take films to enlighten the society rather than highlight gory scenes and bloodbath on silver screen, RGV shocked all by saying that he is the most irresponsible citizen of the country who doesn’t care for the society or the people living in it.
He continued in the same unabashed manner when asked to come up with a film to solve the problems of the farmers. He said, “I hate the fact that farmers always stay in the mud. I get irritated looking at them. That is why I won't make films on farmers. I will surely think about making a film if farmers quit agriculture and encourage gun culture”.
Undoubtedly, RGV made these remarks to grab media limelight.
