Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0 has been made as a visual extravaganza with a couple of jaw dropping scenes inducted in Sharnkar's style. The film's Hindi version has been getting steady run and reached break even. The total nett collections are said to have breached Rs.175 crores so far.
However, the film Telugu and Tamil versions are all set to suffer losses. Trade reports suggest the film successfully breached Rs.50 crores share mark in Telugu states. The movie may add Rs.5 crores more in the final collections tally. But then, the film needs to recover Rs.75 crores. As such, 2.0 may end up with Rs.20 crores losses with its Telugu version.
And then, the percentage of losses is even more in Tamil Nadu. The movie, which was sold out to Rs.100 crores, has collected around Rs.50 crores so far. The movie may suffer more than Rs.40 crores losses in Tamil Nadu in its full run.
2.0 was bankrolled by Lyca Productions. Amy Jackson has done lady lead while Akshay Kumar was seen as an antagonist.
