Star Daughter Gets A Rare Honor

When Atiloka Sundari Sridevi passed away in a tragic manner, leaving all in tears, many wondered who could fill the vacuum. Mercifully, her daughter Janhvi Kapoor who cast a magic spell with her performance on debut and also attracted with her looks in her debut film Dhadak is making not just her mom but the entire country proud.

Janhvi is currently taking the world by storm posing for the cover shoots of various international magazines and also lining up crazy projects. In the midst of all this, Janhvi got a rare honor.

Jahnvi will be awarded with the prestigious ARETS STJERNESKUDD as the rising talent of the year by Royal Norwegian Consulate General.

On the evening of the awards function, two acclaimed Norwegian films ‘The King’s Choice’ and the country’s official entry at Oscars, ‘What will People Say’ will be screened. Janhvi who is pleasantly surprised said, “I made my debut with Dhadak this year. Our film has been seen by audiences across the globe since it released worldwide and many of them including people staying in Norway have seen the film and sent their good wishes to me via social media. This recognition is a pleasant surprise. I am happy to receive this honour and humbled that they chose me for this honour.”
