Kapoor Double Talk On Devarakonda

Vijay Devarakonda has become one of the most sought after actors in Telugu after the back to back hits of Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam. Although his bilingual film NOTA was a flop, Vijay came back strongly with Taxiwala which has entered profit zone on day two itself. Meanwhile, a Bollywood actress made dual and contrasting statements on Vijay Devarakonda.

Sometime back rumors spread that Vijay Devarakonda's filmmakers planned to rope in Bollywood actress and Sridevi’s daughter Jahnvi Kapoor opposite him. But, when the makers contacted Janhvi, the mere mention of Vijay Devarakonda gave her scares.

Janhvi who happened to watch Vijay Devarakonda's blockbuster film Arjun Reddy got scared with his intense kissing and intimate scenes. She outright said no to the project, as per the buzz. However, the actress made a contrasting statement in a TV show.

During the Question and Answer session with Karan Johar on Koffee With Karan season 6, when Karan Johar asked Janhvi if she had to wake up one morning as a male actor, who would it be? To which she replied, "If I had to wake up as male actor one day, I want to wake up as Vijay Devarakonda" adding that she will do a film with him.

It was believed that Vijay Devarakonda had earlier requested makers of his next film with Mythri Movie Makers to approach Janhvi for female lead actress opposite him. 

However, Janhvi had said at an event that she wants to first cement her position in Bollywood and then think of doing South cinema.

But, seems like, she has changed her mind in no time.
