BMS: Rangasthalam Tops In Hyd, Chennai

Mega Power Star Ram Charan and director Sukumar’s sensational film Rangasthalam is the highest grosser of 2018 with 127 Cr share for full run. Ticketing portal Book My Show revealed highest grossing Telugu films in various south cities, ahead of super star Rajinikanth’s 2.0 release and Rangasthalam tops the list.

As per BMS, Rangasthalam is the highest grosser of Hyderabad city for all languages. It grabs top slot for highest grossing Telugu films in Chennai city as well. However, Geetha Govindam that minted Rs 71.40 Cr share for full run is the highest grossing Telugu film in Bangalore. Overall, Avengers Infinity War is the highest collected film in Bangalore for all languages.

2.0 will have grand release in all the south languages. The Shankar directed film will have much bigger release in Telugu states than in Tamil Nadu and other states. In Prasad multiplex alone, 2.0 will have a total of 34 shows, which is all time record. Khaidi No 150 and Businessman were the previous best with 33 shows.

It has to be seen whether 2.0 will break records at box office as well!
