Tollywood is hero dominating industry where heroines will hardly get space to prove their acting abilities. Heroines like Shriya many a times claimed that, directors alter scripts while going to sets to elevate hero’s character and in the process they cut short heroines and other artists’ roles. In fact, fans too doesn’t like if others are given importance.
Likewise, rowdies of Vijay Devarakonda went to watch his latest outing Taxiwala with good expectations to see him in another full of life role. However, the genex star and his makers have cheated and disappointed them utterly. It is not Vijay mark film as director Rahul Sankrityan narrated Malavika’s story.
Although Vijay Devarakonda was seen in maximum of the scenes in first half, the second half actually belongs to Malavika Nair. Vijay will go missing for nearly 40 minutes in second half. Though Malavika gave tremendous performance, audience somehow felt it was tough to bear his absence for such long time.
Just for cashing in Vijay Devarakonda’s craze, makers are promoting the film as his film. But, the fact is Malavika Nair is the real hero of the film. Thanks to Vijay’s newfound stardom and few controversies surrounding the project, Taxiwala is minting decent numbers at box office.
