Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan has maintained stoic silence on contesting in Telangana general elections until yesterday. Finally, he disclosed that that party would distance from the assembly polls as there is no sufficient time for the new political party to contest in the elections.
However, Janasena chief made it clear that the party would contest in the Lok Sabha polls which are scheduled for next summer.
"Janasena is focusing on the areas which are mean for it regarding the elections. As the assembly elections scheduled earlier, it is little bit difficult to participate, hence Janasena party has decided to participate in parliamentary elections after the meeting of party leaders today. I am informing here that we are starting our preparations from now for parliamentary elections," Pawan Kalyan said in his press note.
