Super Star India-Pakistan Controversy

Seems like, Bollywood Star Salman Khan and controversies go hand in hand. Wherever Salman goes, controversies are bound to happen intentionally or unintentionally. He once again landed in another unwanted controversy. 

It is known that Salman is currently starring in his upcoming entertainer Bharat and the makers are shooting important scenes recreating Wagah border. Since they couldn't shoot at Wagah, they selected a village in Punjab by paying huge amounts to local traders and farmers.

As a part of the shooting, the makers were supposed to hoist a Pakistani flag. But villagers objected to hoisting of Pakistani flag on Indian soil. 

A source sharing the developments revealed, “A lot of local bodies were upset about how someone could hoist Pakistan’s flag on Indian soil. We have had such issues earlier in Kashmir and in places like Mumbai as well, when Pakistan flags have been put up during Ind-Pak cricket matches. Even though this is for a film shoot, local organizations are upset and have not just filed a police complaint against Salman, but also surrounded the sets of the film and the hotel where Salman was staying to express their indignation over the hoisting of the flag. After all it is a film shoot, but the locals refused to understand.”

The makers quickly wrapped up the shooting and returned back to Mumbai. Bharat stars Salman in lead with Katrina Kaif, Tabu and Disha Patani,Nora Fatehi starring in important roles.
