It was a big shock for the entire team when unedited version of Taxiwala got leaked out. The team alerted and planned early release. But, they didn’t do it as it will affect excellence of the film due to poor post-production works.
In fact, films of these kinds depend highly on post-production works such as editing, re-recording, VFX, DI etc. Taxiwala trailer appeared attractive because of extra special BGM, VFX, Editing and DI.
Seems like, the technical team has taken it as a challenge and put in their best efforts to give thrilling and scary experience to audience.
Vijay Devarakonda revealed they locked 2:10 Hours runtime for theatrical release version. But, the fact is director Rahul Sankrityayan who is not an experienced one has initially locked nearly 2:40 hr duration as he liked almost many scenes he shot.
However, producers of Geetha Arts and UV Creations have asked director Maruthi to oversee editing of the film. After watching the film, Maruthi suggested to chop off nearly 30 minutes and makers did so contentedly for engaging narration.
Insiders say that, Taxiwala is now looking to be a better product with no boring and unnecessary episodes. Let’s see whether Taxiwala can be a safe ride. The film is releasing on Nov 17th.
