The Telugu industry is dominated by stars who come from prominent families. From Mahesh Babu to NTR, Rana Daggubatti, Prabhas, Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Naga Chaitanya and every other star of this generation, it’s all in the family.
In this generation, Nani and Vijay Devarakonda are the only heroes who became successful, without the support of any godfather in the industry. Unlike many star kids, Vijay did not follow the common route to fame and his nature of being original has brought him the desired stardom he is enjoying today.
We can’t deny the fact that, one can’t digest the success streak of their contemporaries, though they may not directly express their jealousness. Immense criticism on Vijay Devarakonda after the debacle of NOTA is an example of growing covetousness on the genex star.
Taxiwala pre-release event’s chief guest Allu Arjun opined that, many are jealous of Vijay’s sudden stardom. “They are actually waiting for Vijay’s downfall. The thing I like the most in Vijay is his originality. I wholeheartedly say that, I really love Vijay’s acting. I feel happy, if Vijay becomes a bigger hero than me.”
As we reported earlier, Allu Arjun requested Vijay Devarakonda to design a custom-made dress for him.
