ANR's Song Was Reshot In Single Day!

Meyappan who produced ANR, Jamuna's super hit Mooga Nomu in 1969 did not like a duet shot on the lead pair after wrapping whole shoot. He asked ANR to watch the song once. Even ANR felt that Meyappan was right and gave call sheet for song’s reshoot. 

Meyappan did not even like the lyrics penned. He then took out 'Tumari Nazar' song shot in Hindi film Do Kaliya (Letha Manasulu in Telugu) on his own banner and told music director Govardhanam to get  lyrics readied by lyricist Dasarathi and get the song recorded by next morning.

Dasarathi came up with pallavi and one charanam the next day. While Ghantasala and Susheela were singing in the studio, he sat outside and completed the remaining charanams. 

The next day song was shot on ANR and Jamuna. The song 'Ee vela naalo enduko aasalu' which was shot in a hurry later turned out to be ever green classic.
