Suresh Babu, Meeko Namaskaram!

Daggubati Suresh Babu is a very smart producer, when it comes to allotting budgets for his production ventures. He was the only producer to make a Power Star Pawan Kalyan starrer film in a limited budget. As per reports back then, the film Gopala Gopala that co-starred Victory Venkatesh was made within a budget of around 25 cr.

Suresh Babu who is quite often producing films of late has made a small budget film Adhugo directed by Ravi Babu with a new star cast and technical crew. The film is due for release in couple of days. The senior producer’s investment on the film will stun you for sure.

As per reports, total spending on Adhugo was nearly Rs 40 lakhs, including post-production works. This is far less than Ravi Babu and Suresh Babu’s previous low budget film Avunu made on 60 lakhs.

You might be doubtful, how could they make the movie that will have many CG shots on such shoe-string budget. Major portion of the movie was shot in Ramanaidu Studios and students at animation institute have worked on the VFX as a final project for their final year academic course.

It took such long time to wrap up post-production works, since the VFX team were actually students with zero work experience. Knowing this, we can’t stop ourselves saying, Suresh Babu gaaru Meeko Namaskaram! Tussi Great Ho Jahapana...
