Raviteja and Vijay Deverakonda’s much delayed projects Amar Akbar Antony and Taxiwala respectively are hitting the screens on same day on 16th of this month. Both the films carried good reports till certain period, when they were in initial stages of production. However, various reasons killed prospects on them later.
Raviteja and Srinu Vaitla’s was a hit combination. Aaa is fourth film for them together and they were backed this time by successful production house Mythri Movie Makers. Srinu Vaitla was allotted huge budget to shoot the film extensively in USA. But, the film’s teaser and trailer disappointed movie buffs to the fullest. Much surprisingly to them, Aaa is not a Srinu Vaitla mark hilarious entertainer, but a full-fledged action entertainer. Moreover, the latest outing from the production house, i.e. Savyasachi has got lukewarm response.
On the other hand, Taxiwala was initially promoted as image makeover for Vijay Deverakonda as a soft and decent guy; completely contrast to his previous role as a spoilt youngster in Arjun Reddy. Owing to delay in post-production works, the film got postponed countless times. Directed by Rahul Sankrityayan, Taxiwala will be high o VFX. The delays and leakage of footage online has played spoilsport to change prospects. However, cine goers expect the film will have adequate entertainment in Vijay’s presence.
Both the films are gracing the theaters in less than 2 weeks time. Well, how the delays and other reasons are going to affect the films!
