Akhil's Majnu In Dire Straits

Akhil is hailed as Akkineni Prince for his charming looks and handsome personality. Many felt that a star is born in Akkineni family and he will make his grand dad, legend ANR proud carrying his legacy. 

However it seems never before in the industry, son of a celebrity's career didn’t takeoff like Akhil. His debut film Akhil-The Power of Jua hit the screens amidst huge expectations three years back.

The film left young hero Nitin in huge losses. Akhil's dad Nagarjuna after a year or so, re launched him on his own production house with a romantic entertainer Hello. However even that gave a huge shock to him. 

After taking six months time he finally gave green signal to Venky Atulri of Tholi Prema fame. The film's shooting is in the final stages but the makers are now unable to announce the release date. 

Generally Nagarjuna has December sentiment. However Hello which released last December gave a huge shock and Akhil's debut film which released in November end out to be a disaster. 

Akhil who feels the November and December didn’t give him sweet memories is suggesting January release. But except for Republic Day, all the slots are booked. Even Republic Day week may see the release on NTR biopic Mahanayakudu and Bollywood has much awaited films Manikarnika and Super 30 and those Telugu versions too. 

Even December has releases like Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Yatra and Bollywood has Shah Rukh Khan's Zero. Wonder when Akkineni Prince will get his free space.
