Why Running After Engaged Heroines?

Movie lovers are wondering when the makers will come out of routine romantic formula. Almost all romantic stories start off with the hero loitering aimlessly fall in love after seeing a beautiful girl. Heroine's dad happens to be a respectable person in the society. Unaware of hero, heroine love track, he gets his daughter engaged to a good, well settled guy. Hero then enters the scene, wins the hearts of the heroine and her father by making the other guy a fool. 

For times immemorial similar scenes repeated on Tollywood screen. From long ago to Hello Guru Prema Kosame, most of the romantic films had the same scenes. Trinadha Rao Nakkina proved that he cannot come out this track. In Nenu Local, he showed Father In law, son in law drama with Nani. in Cinema Choopista Mava, Raj Tarun enters the scene. 

The moment one feels happy that Tollywood is witnessing change in the mindset of the makers, these kind of films pulls back the industry four steps backward. While Kollywood is coming with different films like Ratchasan, 96, Preiyalum Perumal and Vada Chennai, for how long Tollywood makers continue with heroes running after heroines who already get engaged to others.
