50 People Die at Ravan Effigy Burning Celebrations

In what could be a huge shocker is that at least 50 people died and several others were sustained with severe injuries in a catastrophic train accident at Joda Phatak near Amritsar. According to the reports, several people were participating in Ravan effigy burning with much amusement when the tragedy took place. 

It's reported hundreds of spectators stood on railway track and were watching the burning of Ravan's effigy.On the other hand, crackers were also lit by the people. While they were celebrating the occasion joyously, they couldn't see a train rushing towards them. 

The train rammed on the people which resulted in the death toll recorded at least 50 and pathetically the number may increase. More info on the worst tragedy is awaited.
