Ram Gopal Varma many times made fun of Hindu rituals and beliefs. He questioned the existence of God and posted controversial posts on Lord Ganesha, Lord Ram hurting the sentiments of millions. 

RGV is still facing criminal cases for his insinuating comments. Under these circumstances, RGV who is a sworn atheist surprised all by turning theist. 

The pictures of him visiting Kanipakkam temple, having the darshan of Lord Ganesha along with his family members and following the rituals went viral on social media. To the top of it, RGV went to Tirumala and had the darshan of Lord Venkateswara. 

Many say RGV is once again performing stunts for media attention ahead of the launch of his controversial film Lakshmi's NTR. He promised to reveal more details about Lakshmi's NTR in the temple town of Tirupati. Wonder what more stunts RGV will pullout from his hat.
