Titli Cyclone: NTR, Kalyan Ram Contribute

Cyclone Titli struck Uddanam region of north coastal Andhra in the early hours of Thursday morning, leaving behind an unprecedented trail of destruction in this economically delicate region. As per reports, 18 mandals of the Srikakulam district bordering Odisha were affected by the cyclone. Over 12 lakh people in 872 villages were affected. 

Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu sought Central assistance worth Rs 1,200 crore as interim relief to tide over the calamity caused by the cyclone. The state government has tentatively estimated the damage to be worth Rs 2,800 crore.

Like earlier, Telugu celebrities are lending their helping hand to contribute for Title Cyclone victims. While younger one NTR announced 15 lakhs, the elder one Kalyan Ram announced Rs 5 lakhs towards the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, for the rehabilitation of Cyclone Titli victims in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

As we all know, NTR’s recent outing Aravinda Sametha is turning out as a hit. The film directed by Trivikram Srinivas raked Rs 49.10 crores in AP and TS alone.

Few other celebrities in the industry are also expected to contribute for Title cyclone victim.
