Vijay Devarakonda became youth sensation after scoring back to back hits. Out of his first four releases, three films- Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam have turned out as blockbusters. Dwaraka was the only flop film for him until the release of Anand Shankar directed NOTA.

Apparently, Vijay Devarakonda thought of extending his market in Tamil with this bilingual film. But, his dreams got shattered after the film received mixed reports and collections slowed down from second day itself. NOTA is likely to end as one of the biggest disasters for Vijay Devarakonda.

On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna who made her grand entry in Tollywood with the hit film Chalo starring Naga Shaurya had shared screen space with Vijay Deravarakonda in the super hit Geetha Govidam. She hoped to score hat trick of hits in Telugu with the multi-starrer film Devadas.

Directed by Sriram Aditya, Devadas starring Nagarjuna and Nani is ending as a flop. Rashmika who became darling of youth has faced her first flop in Telugu. More bothering thing was she was criticized for accepting the role that has less scope to perform.

Both Vijay Devarakonda and Rashmika Mandanna saw stardom at very early stage of career. But, both are in tremendous pressure with unexpected failures. Hope, they bounce back strongly with their second combination film Dear Comrade. Directed by Bharath Kamma, the film is likely to release early in 2019.
