Preity Zinta Near Death Experience

Preity Zinta is known for her killer smile, dimple cheeks and during her hay days she stole the hearts of all romancing Super Star Mahesh Babu in Rajakumarudu and Victory Venkatesh in Premante Idera. Preity daringly took on the underworld mafia and testified against them when even the top Bollywood stars never dared to. 

Preity for all her boldness, shared her near death experience. The actress says she had the first-hand experience when Tsunami struck the coasts of the Indian Ocean and killed over 2,30,000 people in 14 countries on 26 Dec,2004. 

She said, "I almost died in the tsunami. I was in Phuket. Most of my closest friends passed away in that. I'm the only one who survived. God bless their souls. It was a tough time." 

Preity Zinta who was last seen in a cameo in Welcome to New York will next be seen in Bhaiaji Superhit slated for release on 19th of this month.
