IT Raids, Revanth Reddy to Be Arrested?

Income Tax personnel on Thursday began raids at properties owned by Revanth Reddy, the working president of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee. Revanth Reddy's brother Kondal Reddy's house was also searched by the IT officials. 

The IT personnel raided Revanth Reddy's house at Jubilee Hills and 15 others places. Enforcement Directorate too joined the searches. 

Revanth Reddy was arrested in Cash for Vote scam in the year 2015. The IT personnel reportedly said that they were on search of misappropriation of Rs.50 lakh funds. Furthermore, it's  learnt that IT personnel have served notices to Revanth Reddy and the latter may receive them at any moment tonight. It's buzzed that he is likely to be arrested soon. More details of IT searches in Revanth's home are awaited.

According to inside sources, Revanth Reddy violated Prevention of Corruption Act 1988, prevention of money landering act and Prohibition of Benami Transactions Act. On February 25, 2014, Revanth Reddy received Rs.9 crores from Kuala Lumpur bank.
