Dil Raju Betting Big On Vijay

Despite tasting bitter results in recent times, producer Dil Raju is continuing to make multiple projects under his Sri Venkateswara Creations Banner. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi, Ram’s Hello Guru Prema Kosame and F2 (Fun And Frustration) are the films being made under his production banner.

Meanwhile, Dil Raju has acquired Telugu remake rights of Tamil film 96 starring Vijay Sethupathy and Trisha Krishnan. Directed by C Prem Kumar, the Tamil version will hit the screens on 4th of October.

Dil Raju went to Chennai few weeks ago and after watching the film in a special screening, he showed interest to buy remake rights.

It is heard that, Dil Raju shelled out Rs 1.5 crores to acquire 96 Telugu remake rights. Many felt, it was quite a big amount for remake rights of a romantic subject. However, Dil Raju seems to have lots of confidence on the film to do wonders in Telugu states. In fact, 96 trailer got immense response for its fresh and breezy entertainment.

Buzz is that, Dil Raju is planning to rope in Natural Star Nani to reprise Vijay Sethupathy in the Telugu version.
