Chaitu Next to Mega Heroes

What happens if a pure commercial fornula film receives rave reviews and positive word of mouth on the first show of its release? Obviously, the film would turn into a blockbuster and this is not seen commonly by us. 

Nonetheless, what if a film receives either a flop talk or mixed talk on the first day? It'd become a flop or an average venture. However, scarcely do we see a film, which gets poor ratings still goes on to score a hit or a safe venture. 

Way back Megastar Chiranjeevi would made many 'divided talk' films as super hits and blockbusters. Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Badri, Jalsa etc. also received flop to average talks but scored super hits. 

Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Rachcha, Naayak etc. mass entertainers received not so great talks but ultimately proved as big hits. And very recently Stylish Star Allu Arjun's films like Sarrainodu and DJ carried divided to flop talks but ended up as blockbuster and an above average respectively. 

Right now, Naga Chaitanya appeared to have stood next to mega heroes pulling huge crowds to his latest offing Sailaja Reddy Alludu. It is a known news that the film got disappointing ratings from the critics. The word of mouth by common audience was also not that good on the day of its release. Yet, the film overcame the negativity and became the biggest opening grosser among Chaitu's films. Obviously, it would be the first stepping stone for Chay to evolve as a star in Tollywood.
