Geetha Govindam Caused Their Break Up!

Actress Rashmika Mandanna called off her engagement with her beau and Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty. Although official confirmation is awaited on this, reports suggest that, Rashmika doesn’t want to marry any time soon when she is flooded with good offers in Telugu.

All was well between Rashmika and Rakshit until the former signed Geetha Govindam. The actress was seen lip-locking with her co-star Vijay Deverakonda in the film’s leaked video and in one of the posters Rashmika was seen piggybacking on Vijay which didn't go down well with the fans of Rakshit Shetty.

It is heard that, Rakshit had asked Rashmika to stop doing films after the release of Geetha Govindam. Nonetheless, Rashmika wants to concentrate on her career and make a mark in Tollywood, and doesn't want to get married any time soon. 

In fact, she signed some interesting projects in Telugu and one amongst them is Vijay Deverakonda’s Dear Comrade. Rashmika will next be seen opposite Nani in forthcoming multi-starrer DevDas that is slated for release on 27th of this month.

Rashmika and Rakshit worked together in the Kannada film Kirik Party, which made several box office records in the industry.
