Celebrities across the nation have made significant contributions to the relief efforts of Kerala Floods while encouraging their fans also to do the same. Interestingly, Kerala Tourism Minister Kadamampalli Surendran made shocking allegations against Malayalam actors.
Kerala Government launched 'Care Kerala' program on Monday to aid flood victims. Surendran, who attended the program, said, "There are many superstars in our state. I have heard that they get Rs 4 crores remuneration for every film. However, they contributed very less amount for flood victims. You need to learn to learn from Prabhas.
Prabhas has never acted in Malayalam cinema. However, he donated Rs 1 crore for flood relief fund. In fact, many Telugu stars contributed bigger donations than the Malayalam superstars.”
But, the fact is Prabhas has donated 25 lakhs, not 1 crore. Besides Prabhas, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Vijay Deverakonda, Ram Charan, Nagarjuna and few others have from Tollywood have donated for Kerala flood victims.
