Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam stood as a new industry hit (non BB) of Tollywood with Rs.127 crores share in its full run. The collections were humongous and the film crossed previous industry hit Khaidi Number 150 with a huge margin of Rs.22 crores.
And now, Vijay Deverakonda's Geetha Govindam is creating a huge sensation at the ticket windows. The movie, which collected Rs.60 crores so far, is expected to mint Rs.65 crores share in its full run. As such, the film collects exactly half of the full run theatrical share of Rangasthalam.
Yet, considering its investments, Geetha Govindam brought huge profits to the makers and distributors. On the other hand, Rangasthalam stands taller than any other movie earning huge sum through satellite and dubbing rights.
Prince Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu, though collected more than Rs.90 crores share in full run, suffered minor losses in many areas due to high pricing of pre release business.
