Director Samudra shared unique and memorable moments with NTR's son, former RS MP, Harikrishna, who passed away in a tragic manner in an accident.
He said Harikrishna used to respond powerfully on the problems faced by the farmers and he always lamented that he couldn't do anything for them though he and his party TDP was in power in the state of united Andhra Pradesh.
He said in 2003, he teamed with Harikrishna to come up with a film Tiger Harischandra prasad highlighting the problems of the farmers. He said during that time, he along with Posani Krishna Murali did lot of research on the subject. Harikrishna used to lament that the state governments without showing interest to solve the problems of the farmers, conveniently shifted the blame on the Central Government.
During that time, the then opposition leader, YS Rajasekhar Reddy of Congress party, called and congratulated him for coming up with such a realistic film. He then promised, "This year my government will come to power Hari. Let us together solve all the problems of the farmers as shown in your film".
YS Rajasekhar Reddy, highlighted the problems as shown in the film and swept to power in Andhra Pradesh.
