Film actor, former RS MP, Hari Krishna lost his life in a tragic accident yesterday. People were shocked to hear that Harikrishna, an expert driver was overthrown out of his car which he was driving at 160kmph after hitting the divider and suffered severe head injuries.
However experts say, he could have been alive had he used the seatbelt. They point out even the autopsy report reveals the same. Experts say driver and front seat passengers have a risk fatality of around 45-50% while rear seat passengers have risk of 25%, while traveling without seatbelts.
They say even rear seat passengers are dangerous for the front seaters. They say Harikrishna's elder son Jayakrishna too lost his life and he didn’t wear seatbelt.
Experts felt that drivers get distracted while turning a radio, talking on the mobile or even drinking water. It is coming out that Harikrishna was trying to reach for the water bottle when the accident happened. Road safety expert point out that the car is not damaged even after topping at such a high speed and had Harikrishna worn seatbelt, he would have been alive.
