That's Why Chiru True Emperor of Tollywood

Megastar Chiranjeevi is now regarded as an undisputed emperor of Tollywood. Considering many factors, cine analysts are lauding Chiranjeevi an all time emperor of Tollywood. They defend their view with the following analysis.

* Thespian late ANR made his debut in Tollywood with Dharmapatni in 1941. Another legendary hero late NTR debuted to Tollywood with Manadesham in 1949. Both the heroes had to share number one position jointly for a couple of decades. Since NTR got unprecedented fan following especially among masses, his fans and many observers felt NTR was the true number of Tollywood then. In such case, NTR turned star with Pathala Bharavi (1951) and became the number one hero with Mayabazaar (1957). And then, NTR continued his legacy as a number one until 1983, when he entered politics. As such, NTR enjoyed number one status for 25 years in which most part was shared with ANR.

* When NTR left industry, there was no vacuum coz Chiranjeevi delivered game changing hit Khaidi. Mega fans considered Chiranjeevi as an unofficial number one of Tollywood between 1983 and 1987. However, media called him as a number one hero only after the industry hit result of Pasivadi Pranam released in 1987. 

* Needless  to say, the kind of history created by Chiranjeevi as a number star. It was 31 years ago when Chiranjeevi was called number one hero by the media. Even today, the media and people are not in a position to call any other hero as a number one hero. Though many heroes were tried to be roped in as competitors for Chiranjeevi for very short periods, none of them could hold the momentum longer. 

* Wonder what numerous heroes came from Chiranjeevi's family and got themselves proved as superstars and stars. Incidentally, Mega Power Star's Rangasthalam stands at current industry hit of Tollywood (non BB). Mega fans treat the success of mega heroes is another form of Chiranjeevi's miraculous craze. "There's a lot of difference between the ranges of the successors of Chiranjeevi and Chiranjeevi's contemporary heroes at the moment," they say. 

* If at all Chiranjeevi doesn't prefer politics in near future and will continue doing films, Chiranjeevi's marathon innings as a number one hero will be continued further. But where shall Chiranjeevi's innings be ended and another number one star would be produced? According to Prince Mahesh Babu's view in one of the interviews, "Industry ki Chiranjeevi gaarey last number one".
